Welcome to my Blog

Firstly a warm welcome to everyone.
newyearseve

I aim to keep you updated and enthralled enough to keep coming back for more. I have many things lined up that will require your assistance so please keep popping in to see what is happening.
I have just had my website completely revamped and thanks to David Yanez for his fantastic work, between us we aim to take the site to another level throughout the year.
Please feel free to leave your comments and suggestions about the site, good or bad and we will endeavour to incorporate new ideas as they come.

What has happened?
2008 is a year I will not forget in a hurry, sadly it was largely for the wrong reasons, on a personal front myself and my family had to go through the pain of watching my mother die of cancer. It was an especially trying time for myself and my father as we nursed her through the disease at home until she passed away.
A huge hole has been left in the kennels and it has been hard to keep motivated and if i’m truly honest, I’ve felt like calling it a day on many occassions.
However by launching my new website, buying up some superbly bred bitch pups (future broods), and my mother always telling me never to give up I hope you can see i will be giving it my all in 2009.

Since last year we have added a few nice bitches to the breeding paddocks, they are Jazz Hurricane, Questhouse Lucy, Baby Marge and Droopys Rosari, these will be complimented by the earlier mentioned bitch puppies out of Westmead Hawk x Droopys Charlize and Droopys Shearer x Jewelinthesand.

Valentia Mist and Knockeevan Angie were retired this year and both are enjoying life at the kennels. (Misty is a house pet but Angie is kenneled as they do not get on one bit!)

The kennel has bred over 30 Open Race wins and 150 individual wins in 2008 and we will be striving to increase that score dramatically in 2009 and repeat our Group Race success from before.

We had a fantastic night of racing at Hove in August, with all proceeds going to The Macmillan Cancer Support Charity, please check out the galleries page to view the
Hove Memorial Night photos.
